Only by the grace of God I am where I am 

I have never felt higher in life

This high I don’t need to roll up 

I am able to finally sit and walk my truth on this path called life

At now 31 years of age I shedded tears reading my old writings 

due to I had no self love, no self respect 

due to my upbringing and holding onto the trauma

I thank God I was given the opportunity to leave the state and it was a different experience than I expected. 

I’m glad I let God lead the way and got myself from living for the world to living for God, myself and my family. 

Living for God is moving and thinking differently than your old self would have 

For the better of course 

I’m only going higher, closer to my dreams. 

Obstacles still happen

Show me who is perfect

Yet with the test I know how to move.
